Bonnie Schott

Bonnie Schott, age 71, of Pine River, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at Good Samaritan Society, Pine River. She was born to Edwin and Mahaila Putz on May 25, 1944, in Albert Lea, MN. On June 18, 1963, she was joined in marriage to Paul Schott. Paul and Bonnie lived on Paul's family farm near Miller, IA, until 1974 when they moved to a farm near Long Prairie, MN. They retired from farming and moved to Holy Cross, IA, then eventually made their final move to Pine River, MN. Bonnie enjoyed gardening and quilting and was a member of Pine River United Methodist Church.

Bonnie is survived by her sons: Phillip (Jodi), Randy (Karin); brother, Mike Putz; and grandchildren: Parker, Emma, Monte and Maverick. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul; and brother, Curt Putz.

Services will be 1 PM on Saturday, May 14, at Pine River United Methodist Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
