Blake Jason Baumgartner, 26, passed away on April 16, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories cherished by those who knew and loved him.

Blake was born on April 6, 2000, in Brainerd, Minnesota, to Brett and Tina Baumgartner. Growing up, he had a love for trains, dinosaurs, Star Wars, and anything that involved spending time with family.

Blake graduated from Bertha-Hewitt High School in May of 2018. He attended MState in Wadena and graduated in May of 2022 with a diploma in Electrical Technology. He began his working career at Bergstrom Electric in Sebeka, MN. He later obtained his CNA license and began working at Central Todd County Care Center. It was here that he found his passion in caring for others. He touched the hearts of many residents and enjoyed talking and listening to their many stories.

Blake had a deep love for the outdoors and found joy in fishing and hunting, especially alongside his older brother, Brady. He also enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family, which meant the most to him. He will be remembered for his loyalty, patience, and the way he cared for those closest to him. He was always up for a good time around the fire, frying fish and joking around.

Blake is survived by his parents, Brett (Becky) Baumgartner and Tina (Cory Bacon) Baumgartner; his brother Brady (Kirstan) Baumgartner; half sister Kinley Baumgartner; step siblings Brookelyn, Berkley, and Trevor Frolek; grandparents Kevin Raddohl and Bonnie (John) Ruby; uncle Chad (Sarah) Baumgartner; aunts Kami (Mike) Kavanaugh, Mandy Raddohl, and April Johnson; cousins CJ (Marissa, Hudson and Lucas) Baumgartner, Christian and Zachary Baumgartner, Austyn, Masen and Saige Walker, Gannon Kavanaugh, and Teigan Raddohl; and many other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Peter Baumgartner, Lowell Hulett, and Sandra Raddohl, as well as all of his great grandparents.
