Beverly Eileen Pietz

June 9, 1943 – July 10, 2026

Bev, age 83, of Pillager, passed away July 10th, 2026, at Lakewood Health Systems surrounded by her family.

Bev was born June 9, 1943, in Brainerd MN, the daughter of Milton and Eileen (Adriansen) Hradsky. Bev graduated from Pillager High School, the class of 1961.

She was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart and the love of her life Eugene Pietz on July 29, 1961. They happily started their family and were blessed with two children; Brenda and Jeff.

Bev was one of the hardest – working people you could ever meet, never afraid of a challenge and always willing to lend a helping hand. She believed in giving life everything you had and often reminded those she loved “Life isn’t fair, but you make the best of it.” Those words became the way she lived by every day with resilience, determination and grace.

She found happiness in life’s simple pleasures; sewing beautiful creations, watching and feeding her beloved hummingbirds, playing cards, and opening her home and heart to those she loved. Her gentle spirit, caring nature, and generous heart made everyone feel welcomed.

She shared an extraordinary love with her husband. Their lifelong devotion to one another was a beautiful example of commitment, friendship, and unconditional love. Together, they made a life and a place they could call home on the farm.

Above all else, she loved her family more than anything. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great – grandchildren, filling every gathering with love, laughter and treasured memories. She made each one of us feel special and loved beyond measure.

Though our hearts are broken by the loss of such an amazing woman, we are forever grateful for the lessons she has taught us, the unconditional love she gave us, and the memories we will cherish and carry with us always. Her strength will continue to inspire us, her kindness will live in our hearts, and her love will remain a guiding light for generations to come.

She will be greatly missed by her husband of 65 years Gene; children, Brenda (Dale) Hove and Jeffrey (Brenda Kadus) Pietz; grandchildren and great grandchildren,

Travis (Sara) Pietz and their children Savanna, Nicholas, Emma
