Bess Mahle

Bess Marie Mahle Age 89, of Baxter, MN, passed away on August 21, 2025.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN.

Bess was born on January 14, 1936, in Portland, OR, to Lawrence and Helen (Rischmille) Burns. From a young age, she understood the value of hard work, spending many years as a general laborer and always lending a hand to anyone in need.

A devoted mother and grandmother, Bess raised five children. She found joy in simple pleasures, especially reading, tending to flowers, and cherishing time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her children Kim Mahle, Shawn Mahle, and Twila Larson; 12 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and a couple of great-great-grandchildren.

Bess was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Helen; children, Kyle Mahle, Wade Mahle; and husbands Gerald Mahle and Robert Squires.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.
