Becky Richards

Becky Richards, age 70, of Backus, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2019, at Dignity & Grace in Backus surrounded by her family. She was born on August 6, 1949, in Pecos, TX. Becky loved dancing, baking, butterflies and was a long-time member of The Red Hat Society. Her grandkids and great grandkids were especially important to her.

Becky is survived by her former husband, Jim Wynn and their children: Chrissie Wynn of Brainerd, Cathy Kotzer (Dan) of Sartell, James Wynn of Brainerd, Caryn Johnson (Rob) of Backus; 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; her husband, Ron Richards, whom she married on June 6, 2007; stepchildren: Ron Richards Jr., Kevin Richards, Kyle (Lena) Richards, Jodi (Victor) Bramman; 10 step grandchildren; 14 step great-grandchildren; siblings: Roy, Maria, Sonya, Richie, Londo, Gordon, Vicki and Kenny; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Larry and Mavis Hardin; biological mother, Rita Rayos; and stepdaughter, Rhonda.

A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Becky’s life will be held from 1 to 4 PM on Saturday, November 2 at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River.
