Barry Wickham

Barry R. Wickham, 69, of Merrifield, MN, passed away at his home on May 16, 2024. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Born on September 22, 1954, in Brainerd, Barry was the son of Ray and Dora (Hedlund) Wickham. He dedicated over 40 years to his craft as a welder at Clow Stamping. Barry's passion for the outdoors was evident in his love for fishing, hunting, and trapping, and he cherished observing nature's beauty.  He especially loved watching the birds, deer, bears and other wildlife that would visit his yard. Known for his remarkable skills in fixing and creating things, Barry was a true craftsman at heart.

Barry is survived by his loving wife, Peggy; his children, Ray (Alison Fox) Wickham and Rachel (Rob Prekker) Ingberg; and his cherished grandchildren, Bryduk, Rykar, and Selah. He also leaves behind his siblings, Dennis (Denise) Wickham and Rita (Scott) Russel, along with his sister-in-law Diane Wickham.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Jeff Wickham.

Arrangements are entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Baxter.
