Barbara Berg

Barbara A. Berg, 83, of Nisswa, MN passed away at Golden Horizons in Crosslake, MN on Tuesday, March 21, 2017. Services for Barb will be held Monday, March 27, 2017 at 12:00PM at Faith Baptist Church in Brainerd, MN with visitation one hour prior to services at the church.

Barbara was born on May 12, 1933 in Brainerd, MN to Harry and Ida (Belle) Southern. She attended Brainerd High School. Barb was united into marriage to John Berg and remained married for almost 50 years. She worked for Meyers Cleaners and also cleaning for various homes in the lakes areas. Barb enjoyed traveling, reading, baking, cooking, and fishing. She was a member of the Faith Baptist Church.

Barb is survived by her children, Greg Berg of Crosby, MN, Larry Berg of Streeter, ND, and Charles (Susan) Berg of Nisswa, MN; twenty-six grandchildren; and thirty-one great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; sons, Mike and Jerry; grandson, Chad; and two great-grandchildren, Mae,Kenzley and Apriley; two brothers, George and Richard Southern. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN.
