Audrey Blaido

Audrey Blaido, age 79, of Pine River, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2019, at Lakewood Care Center, Staples. She was born to Sam and Rose Blaido on December 18, 1939, in Minneapolis.

Audrey was ambitious and a very hard worker who was a perfectionist at heart. She earned her college degree later in life while working full time. Audrey loved to travel in her car in search of new and different places. She enjoyed Nascar, gardening, baking, scrapbooking and playing cards with her friends. Mostly, she loved spending time with her family. She was a loving and caring person who would do anything for her family and always gave great advice.

Audrey is survived by her children: Kelly Gronskei, Shelly Yeats (Randy), Chris Gronskei (Lorene), Clay Gronskei (Becky LeFebvre), Wendy Schrupp (Raymond); brother, Lyle Blaido (Pam); sisters, Lois Lodien, Cheryl Blaido; grandchildren: Gary Gronskei, Lozza Gronskei, Stacy Ford, David Gronskei (Rachel), Jennifer Kline (Matthew), Ryan Schrupp (Courtney); great grandchildren: Andrew, Mike, Merissa, Sarah, Ella, Brody, Madison, Rylan and Reagan. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Joyce Moriarity; grandson, Brandon Gronskei; and brother-in-law, Morey Lodien.

Services will be 4 PM on Friday, September 6, at First Lutheran Church, Pine River. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
