Arlene H. (Seurer) Harren, age 83, of Ironton, MN, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2017, at Hallet Cottages in Crosby, MN. She was born October 24, 1933, to Fred and Blanche Seurer. She grew up and attended high school in Upsala, MN.
Arlene married Vern Harren on January 23, 1954, in Minneapolis. She worked in the banking industry for 46 years. Arlene served on the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center Board for 8 years until she moved to Crosslake, MN. She was a member of the Ironton Myron-James Post 443 Auxiliary for 30 years, the Crosslake-Fifty Lakes Post 500 Auxiliary for 7 years, and Emily-Outing-Fifty Lakes Lions for 4 years.
Arlene is survived by her children: Sandy Dobmeier (Leroy) of Rice, MN, Patty Solarz (Pat Zehrer) of Swanville, MN, Kathy (Jim Laborde) of Crosby, MN, and Doug Harren (Cindi) of Hackensack, MN; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vern; parents, Fred and Blanche; sisters, Elaine and Delores; brother, Bob; and granddaughter, Trisha.

Services will be 1 PM on Monday, October 9, at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls, MN.
