Ardell Davey

Ardell D. Davey, age 75, of Browerville, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2026, in Browerville.

A memorial service for Ardell will be held at 11am on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Staples. A visitation will be held an hour prior to the service.

Ardell was born January 1, 1951, in Barclay Township to Roy and Mary Davey. He dedicated 32 years of employment to Long Prairie Packing company, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dependable nature. He retired in 2007.

Ardell enjoyed spending time with family and friends, woodworking, agate hunting, writing as a published author, spending time on the computer and watching YouTube videos.

He is survived by his children, Ryan Davey of Aldrich, Jennifer Davey of Long Prairie, and Jessica (Larry) Marion of Browerville; grandchildren, Nickolas Davey of Osakis, Chandler Davey of Long Prairie, Brandon Marion of Browerville, and Wyatt Marion of Browerville; siblings, Suzzy Harper of New York Mills, Konnie Overy of Brainerd, and Tracey Denny of Staples; along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Mary Davey; brothers, David, Clifford, and Roy; and sisters, Kayann Davey and Elsie Boldra.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Staples.
