Annie Rebecca Sharon was born on April 1, 1937, in Cushing, MN. To Ethan and Elizabeth Packer.

She was the baby of the family and was very lovingly spoiled. She grew up on the family farm and attended country school in Cushing and then Little Falls High School. On October 17th, 1953, she married Donald Sharon. They moved to Randall, MN and raised 6 children. Annie was a devoted wife and mother to her own children and any neighbor kids that wandered in. She was always busy and had many jobs. From housecleaning, painting, working at White Mart and was a Foster Grandparent for about 15 years at the Randall School. Annie was a member of St. Peters Lutheran Church and proudly served on the alter guild. She was a member of the Randall Cushing Lions Club for many years. Annie was also a lifelong member of Cushing Willing Workers Club. She enjoyed reading, watching game shows and crocheting everything from doilies to mittens to baby sweaters and booties. There was no job she was afraid to handle. From working on cars to cooking to cuddling babies. Annie was always willing to help out anyone in need. She was also very strong-willed and when she wanted something done there were 2 options: either you do it immediately or she would do it herself. Her favorite products to repair just about anything were duct tape and super glue. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, playing cards and marbles and Blue Grass music. Annie spent every Friday at the Randall VFW for many years playing Bingo. She cherished the many trips her daughter Cheryl and son-in-law, (aka Annie’s boyfriend) Steve, took her on.

Annie had a heart for everyone. She loved her children, and especially her 20 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, and her dog rusty. There was always room on her lap for snuggles. She loved having her family come home for Sunday dinners, where roast and mashed potatoes were her go to. There were always buns in the oven, waiting to be devoured while they were still warm. Annie had a wonderful sense of humor and was a take charge, fun-loving person to all who knew her.

Her memory is cherished by her children: Cheryl (Steve) Salber, Daryl (Sue) Sharon, Linda Andres, Deb Schnobrich, Julie DeZurik, Mike (Heather) Sharon; 19 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Larry (Pat) Sharon, sister-in-law Jean (Gary) Davidson; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and family friends.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Don, her parents Ethan & Elizabeth Packer, sons-in-law Doug Andres, Gary DeZurik, and Gary Schnobrich; grandson Corey DeZurik; sisters Mae (Bob) Powell, and Betty (Chet) Loberg; brother Allen (Son) Packer; brother-in-law Jerry (Shirley) Sharon; and her mother and father-in-law Mildred and Van Sharon.
