Amy Richards

Amy Marie Richards age 64, passed away on July 13, 2025, at St. Josheph’s hospital in Brainerd, MN due to cancer. She was born December 5, 1960, in Oak Ridge, Tennessee to Alan (deceased) and Mary Jane Christman. She leaves behind her beloved husband Wayne Richards, stepdaughter Haley (Josh) Mackenthun and granddaughter Everly. Amy was a devoted friend to all creatures, great and small. She had a special place in her heart for the many cats and dogs she felt privileged to care for over the years. Amy is survived by her siblings Catherine Christman, Jay Christman, Sarah (Benjamin) Hoppe and John Christman. 

A private interment will be held at the Riverside Cemetery in Longville, MN at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 23, 2025. 

In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations may be made to Amy’s favorite charity, Paws and Claws Animal Rescue and Resort in Hackensack, MN (pawsand clawsrr.org). 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.
