Allen Harrison

Allen Harrison, age 82, of Pine River, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Golden Horizons in Crosslake. He was born to Leonard and Zelma Harrison on May 6, 1939, in Grand Rapids, MN. Allen served in the U.S. Army from 1959 to 1962. He married Mary Thomas on July 1, 1961, in Fall Creek, WI. Allen worked for Arvig Telephone, then as a lineman for Crow Wing Power, as well as raising cattle and hogs on his farm. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Allen is survived by his wife, Mary; children: Julie Harrison (Patrick Hilke), Sue Harrison, James Harrison (Marci), Michael Harrison, (Becky), David Harrison; 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Barbara Mutchler.

Services will be 2 PM on Sunday, April 3, at First Lutheran Church, Pine River. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Pine River.
