Betty Kolby

Betty Jean Kolby, age 88, of Pequot Lakes, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Harmony House. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, May 4, 11 AM, at St. Alice Catholic Church in Pequot Lakes, with Fr. Mike Patullo officiating. Visitation will be at the church during the hour prior to Mass. Interment will be at Pelican Woods Cemetery in Breezy Point.

Betty was born January 22, 1929 in Boise, Idaho, to Lloyd and Helene (McKinley) Kolbensvik. She lived in Florida until 2001, when she moved to Breezy Point to be near her family. She returned to Florida for a short time, and then moved to her apartment in Pequot Lakes. Betty was a woman of strong Catholic faith, and enjoyed giving to and doing for others.

She is survived by her cousin, Cathy (Dale) Fyle, of Breezy Point. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Mildred. Services entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel of Pequot Lakes
